The battery in your tablet has been designed for mobility and therefore has increased capabilities when it comes to the unpredictable conditions often faced by users who are regularly out and about. A tablet battery can withstand slightly higher and lower temperatures than a standard lithium battery, as well as operate efficiently when faced with a level of shock or vibration. Tablet batteries are made for longevity in the midst of being regularly shaken or dropped, however, there are a number of things a tablet owner can do to ensure that their portable device is not pushed to the limit and battery life is enhanced.<br />

Tablet vs. Temperature</h4>

Even though tablet and other mobile device batteries are designed to withstand higher and lower temperatures, tablets are still prone to overheating so make sure you take care when exposing it to high temperatures, especially when working with the tablet on your lap. Taking care when handling your tablet also pays dividends, again despite tablets been able to thrive in harsher conditions where other devices may struggle, each drop will cause excessive damage to the battery and other internal components.<br />

Getting Your Tablet in Better Working Order</h4>

As with any gadget, being clued up on the jargon that comes with the majority of technology helps you to maintain your device for better working order. Many manufacturers recommend full discharges once every one to three months to retain battery memory, keep your device calibrated and ensure that the fuel gauge on your display corresponds accurately with what is really going on in your tablet.<br />

Regular or incomplete discharges have the opposite effect and may cause considerable damage to the inner workings of your tablet. Apart from the periodic discharge every one to three months, you should never let your tablet run completely out of battery, instead keep power high and charging periods short, especially if your tablet contains a lithium-ion battery. For lead acid batteries however, you must always complete a full charge, whilst avoiding the deep discharges that cause damage to this particular battery type. Partially charging lead acid batteries can also cause sulfation.<br />

In regards to usage when charging, it is recommended that you switch your tablet off until fully charged if you have a device with a nickel base or lithium battery.<br />

The list below above explores several different ways to save your iPhone photos, including the traditional iPhone sync, a step-by-step guide on setting up Photo Stream and various IFTTT recipes that save your photos to the cloud.<br />

<b>1. Sync to iPhoto</b><br />

If you have a Mac, syncing your iPhone to iPhoto is the best and most basic way to save your photos.<br />
First, connect your iPhone to your computer via your USB drive, and iPhoto should automatically show up under the “Devices” section or open by itself.<br />
